Microsoft Solidworks SQL Server Licensing in the Cloud

Over the last few years, SOLIDWORKS and Microsoft made minor changes to the minimum software requirements. These requirement changes gave our Cloud-hosting customers reason to consider EpiGrid. EpiGrid, via our reseller channel, is here to assist with our customers' questions and help ensure their hosted environment is operating efficiently and compliant with Microsoft’s SOLIDWORKS SQL server licensing requirements.

We have documented a timeline of the changes below to help customers understand the current requirements and compiled a list of FAQs that we hope will address most of our customers' questions regarding this topic.

Here is our Microsoft SOLIDWORKS SQL Server Licensing Compliance Policy: https://www.epigrid.com/legal
