EpiGrid asked P.E. Braiden Griffiths from Water Management Resources about his experience with the EpiGrid solution. Here's what he had to say:

What problem needed to be solved that led you to EpiGrid originally?

"Water Management Resources started with an in-house server that proved to be very unreliable for us. When we had issues, we spent a great deal of unproductive time troubleshooting and/or depending on outsourced IT help. We ended up with what we felt was an unreasonable amount of downtime as a result. Our IT consultant was good, but he did not have any knowledge or experience with PDM. This created another challenge for us because we had to coordinate communication between our IT consultant and our PDM support."

Why did you select EpiGrid for your hosting solution?

"EpiGrid appealed to us primarily because they offered reliable hosting for our file vault and support for PDM all under one hat."

Did the EpiGrid solution address your critical needs?

"Yes, we have not had a single regret. I don’t think we have had any noticeable downtime with the hosting and the support for PDM has been outstanding."

How did the EpiGrid solution change or improve your work process?

"It eliminated our downtime."

Most recently how have you benefited from the EpiGrid solution during the COVID-19 crisis?

"I never really looked at this as a benefit because our business model has always been focused on teleworking. We are benefiting now because we are not scrambling to figure out how to set everyone up to work from home. Since we have been teleworking for years, it has been business as usual."
